Our sister company, Big Red Cloud, has won a hotly contested vote to become the Bank of Ireland Sponsor for a Day y for Leinster Rugby 2014/15. The competition was organised by the marketing unit at Bank of Ireland Business and will see Big Red Cloud’s company name on the Leinster Rugby jersey for a European Champions Cup game against French team Castres on January 16th.
This is a great achievement and we are thrilled to have won. This is a very proud moment in the history of both Big Red Cloud and Big Red Book and though we covered our CEO’s connection to Leinster Rugby in depth during the campaign, it is worth repeating.
Marc O’Dwyer played for Leinster at U16 and U20s and his dad Jerry played and captained the Leinster senior team, winning his first cap against Munster in 1954. Here we are, 60 years on and Marc’s dream to wear the Leinster jersey again is realised in front of a guaranteed full house at the RDS Arena.
